from Soliloquy by JUDITH JUILLERAT

lyrics

It's always the same old story,
what's the time ?
There are the first gleams of the sun,
what's the date ?
But the frost has nipped the buds,
what's the matter ?

And the poplars lining the road,
haphazardly.
And the poplars lining the road,
it makes my flesh creep.
And the poplars lining the road,
that made my day.

It's always the same old story,
as if nothing had happened,
as if i was consumed by curiosity,
as if it was only for fun.
